Dear friends,

 

If anyone from Bombay, please guide me. I want to purchase a flat in Mulund area. I have lots of old buildings are going under redevelopment i.e. the complete old building is purchased by the builder from the owners and in lieu of old flat the builder gives 40% extra area to the owners in new constructed building. Please now guide me what are the precautions one has to take while purchasing a flat in such an old building which is to be purchased by the builder i.e. the old building going under re-development as they say here in Bombay.

Please let me know the full details. e.g. carpet area, built up area, about the title, on which floor the flat is, if papers are clear, maintenance charges of the society, amenities etc. Thanks. Please do it fast.

You are silent about the details. Please do write. I have heard that I cannot take a loan for purchase of a flat in Nirmal life style because of dispute about forest land. Is that true? If not, then please furnish all the details I have asked in  my previous message.

Forest  land issue: on opp side of road, does not concern this building.

maintainence charges will be decided by builder at time of possesion. it will be around 3 - 5 rs per sq ft. ameneties: in built club house, swimming pool, garden, etc

carpet area will be arpprox 30 % to 40% less than the built up area 1116 sq feet.
