Query : Land case

Hi,

My grandfather owned a land and his brother name is not in the land document. But his son's are claiming for it and they got the patta in their name and built a house. We went to court and own the case, but they have filed a new case for the same land.

Please let me know

1. How to file RTI and change the land patta

2. How to get the original copy of the judgment using RTI

3. how to file RTI to electricity board and ask them to remove the electricity

Bolobolo,

Your case may be lot more complex based on timeline of events and you will need to consult a very good lawyer.

Frist step is to document a timeline of events.

1) Date when you grandfather bought the land.

2) When your uncles bulit the house? Did you object? How long back. When is the first time you knew about any type of claim on the property by your uncles, etc

3) When you filed a case? What relief you claimed?

4) If you uncle file a suit without you as a party, dont worry it is non-binding on you. Like wise dont worry about the patta if this was done without knowledge of your grandfather. If documents were fabricated then you will need to fight that in court.

5) Again dont worry about electricity, water, constructions and such at this stage. You have a bigger issue at hand to fry.
