Hi,
I am from Mumbai, yesterday my wallet was stolen by a theif in a near by railway station. When I raised a ruckus the theif was caught by locals and police and a FIR was registered as they recovered my wallet from him. The GRP then confiscated my wallet with some cash and id card in it and told me that I have to go to railway court in CST and file an affidavit to retreieve the same.
Can someone tell me what are the documents required to file the affidavit and on the 100 rupee stamp paper what should be the affidavit content?
Also, if someone can tell me the exact steps that I need to do to get my belongings back it would be of great help.
