Rate of Excise Duty

Dear Friends,

Pls answer my querry, " is fabrication of container to fit on the chasiss of vehicle (which recd from end user, it will be returned after doing ,fitment of container on chasis) amount to manufacture? means exciseable or exempted.

pls write with all references of case law and respective notifications.
