Rectification of property paper

Hi,

I have purchased flat in Kolkata one month back. But when i received my property registration paper, i found typing mistake in that paper. The error i have found in building numbers. It should be '2C of Building number B' rather than '2C of Building number A'. Please anyone suggest me what should i do to rectify mistake. My lawyer suggest me that this can be rectify by giving a declaration. Please anyone suggest.

You prucased proerty in the Sale deed building number wrongly typed, it should be 2C of Building B but typed as 2C of Building number A. Your Vendor has to execute Rectification deed to rectify Building number as suggested by you.
