My dad had passed away 16 years back in a road accident when hit by a RTC bus.We filed a case in district court.We won the case in district court in 2001 and we were granted a compensation with 12% p.a on an amount.The RTC had filed a case in high court to reduce the amount.The High court has reduced the interest to 7.5%p.a with the same amount in 2008.We filed a petition to return back our money.There is no reponse from their side and my advocate is telling that the money is not yet being credited in the court.How will we know whether the money is being credited or not?And will the interrest decrease from 2008 or will it decrease from 2001?Should we directly approach RTC people?Help me out with this issue please.
