Regarding car insurance

Dear ,

My car has recently met with an accident and its still on Temporary Registration.

I bought this car 4 Months ago and also visited RTO  office two weeks back for regsitering the vehicle, and registration office has requested me to get a DD for Tax due to Second vehicle Owner and Discount Price Tax.

As it was around 12:00pm Slot that i have booked and was waiting in a long que my turn came up around 1:15pm and RTO office would end the registration process around 2:00pm i had no chance to go get the DD and come back.

So now i am going to file a claim policy, what are the chances that insurance company can reject my policy and how to proceed furhter if they does so?

Thanks,

Raj

"The law on the subject is clear that the insurance company is not entitled to repudiate the claim on the ground that the vehicle had not been registered," So you can submit your claim application to the insurance company with all evidences that you are in the time slot etc.

Thaks Rama Chary Sir for your response.

As suggested will show the evidence of me visiting RTO office along with the sot booking receipt.

Regards,

Raj
