Our Housing society based at Palghar, Our society chairman had refused to sign the audit report since many members in committe had asked him numerous question regarding the payment done for various small works without consultation, which members find expensive and also He thretened that he would not resign.. All society committe members want him to put resignation so new chairman is appointed.. in upcoming AGM.. but he refuses to do so..Though Audit report is sign by Other 2 signatory.. we had actually asked all 3 members to be changed.. secretary and tresurer had put their resignation. (a) The Chairman can be ousted in an AGM or SGM by passing a vote of no-confidence by majority &
(b) Chairman can be ousted at the time of election by defeating him with majority votes,

Has the Committee approved the audit Report? If so, the President is bound to sign the Report. If not, the Committee can authorise the Vice President (or the next in the hierarchy) and get the matter ratified in the next General Body or a Special General body convened for the purpose.
