Regarding regularization in service

I have been working as an Assistant Professor on Contractual basis for the last 08 years in a Govt. Institution of Uttrakhand. I was appointed through a Selection Committee by holding interview. Now the present Director of the Institution is saying that there is no vacancy for you for teaching by you and he is not permitting to continue further. Please suggest what I should do. Should I go to High Court or not? If there was no vacancy at the time of interview, why the then Director appointed me and also the present Director permitted me for teaching for last 3 years.
