Dear Experts,
I need opinions for the right legal procedure to go ahead for one-time settlement for MCD :
My wife has filed false 498a504,506.323,406,3/4,DV in U.P. and sec24. Chargesheet has been filed and charges are framed in 498a case. Now it is decided that we will settle case-by-case by MCD after giving a one-time amount and signing on an agreement. I have also filed divorce on grounds of cruelty from my side.
I want to know that during settlement what should I do first,
1. whether shall I get MCD first (after 1st and 2nd motion) and then go for quashing of FIR at Allahabad HC after getting her statement and agreement of settlement in DV and 498a cases or I should go vice-versa.
2. How the total decided amount should be given, whether in instalments or total.
3. and whether quashing of FIR is necessary in this settlement process.
Please guide me to avoid any legal things in future if my wife is having ill intentions during MCD and 498a cases.
