My sister has taken Money for her personal use and unable to pay back to me. She is having a housing plot measuring 200 Sq. yards and want to give this land to me in place of money she took from me. I would like to know how to get her land transferred on my name with all rights. I heard that registration of above property on my name will cost more than settlement deed.Can u suggest me which option is better? Thanks and best regards

You are worried about the registration fees and other related high costs compared to settlement deed. You have not seen the underlying danger which may erupt in any form at a later stage when you will not able to do any thing except to go for a compromise paying heavily at that time, instead I suggest that it is better you have registered sale deed in your favor which will not have any or much impact in the future.
