I work for an very big corporate who are into the manufacturing. As a part of process we have purchased two forklifts for our internal use around 4 years back. At the time of purchase there is no such rule to get it registered even though its an non transport vehicle. But in our recent audits there is an query in this regard that we have to get it registered in the near by RTO office.
We are fine and ready to do the same and approached concerned RTO officer but after our discussion we came to know that there is will an temporary registration for which manufacturer is responsible to provide on form no.22 of RTO as indicating the vehicle fit for run or will be treated as road worthyness certificate.
Now we need to clarify one thing whether we have to do it compulsory or if so is there any notificate or order copy available or if not how we have to manage in the audit along with RTO or else please let us know without having the above said RTO form no.22 can we go for registration.
Kindly help me in this issue to close the issue which was pening in our records as an audit query.
