Registration of Lease Agreement of movable property

It's compulsory to register the Lease Agreement of movable property (say Plant and Machinery or Equipment) rented for more than 11 months in the State of Gujarat?

Good evening, It is always safer to register leases, if you're using the property (movable or immovable) for over a period of one year. Please visit the registrar office and follow up on this, and if they see it fit to register, please get it registered. For any IMMOVABLE property, lease that extends to over 1 year of time is only valid if it is registered. Like I mentioned, please visit the registrar office and find out more regarding your issue.
