This is regarding the registration of office premises under the provisions of the Bombay Shops & Establishments Act.
The registered office of two of our group companies say A Private Ltd and B Private Ltd. are the same. The premises are purchased in the name of A Pvt. Ltd. And this company has obtained registration under the Bombay Shops & Establishments Act, whereas B Pvt. Ltd. has not.
Since both the companies are distinct entities, do we need to obtain registration under the said Act for B Pvt. Ltd. also???
If yes, then whether a Leave and License agreement between A Pvt. Ltd. & B Pvt. Ltd. will be sufficient proof of the location of the registered office of B Pvt. Ltd., for registering the same under the said Act.
