Hi,
I had joined this company on April 24 2017 which had given me a joining bonus of 2 lakhs under the condition that I had to repay the bonus if I left within a year.
I submitted my resignation on March 7 2018 thinking my notice period of 2 months will entitle me to not give back my bonus since my LWD will be May 7.
But they cut short my notice period and made my LWD on April 13 2018 which is 10 days short and asked me to repay my joining bonus.
What will happen if I do not pay this joining bonus?
Why you do not want to abide by your promise?
