Dear Sir/ Madam
I request help from you regarding seeking information from a chit fund company.
I hold an account with Kapil Chits Pvt. Ltd. As I doubted that there could be a discrepancy in the amounts i paid and the amounts they credited in my account, I requested them to email me the 'statement of accounts' as on that date. For this request, they are replying that they cannot email it, though they have done it via their legal cell a year back. When i demanded, they are justifying that only on visiting their office, which is 700km away from where i stay right now, they could provide the detail. In this regard I would like to know:
1. Do I have the right as a customer to demand for Statement of Accounts? Do the company have policies/ rules to provide it to their customers against demand?
2. Can I demand them to provide it by email? (they have provided it earlier when i requested over email)
