Resigned , serving notice period not got any acceptance mail

I have Resigned from Organization. My Notice Period is 45 Calender Days. My Notice Period is completing on coming 15th.

I have not got any Acceptance mail from HR or management.

They have accepted it verbally and I have completed my Project Knowledge Transfer.

They are saying that they will be relieving me on 20th.

That's beyong Notice period.

How to go legal in this matter.

The problem is I don't have any written acceptance mail from organization.

Send them an email reminding them of their verbal acceptance on.  ....date... And that the notice period is finishing on15th. Also say that they have asked you to stay till 20th and as a gesture of goodwill you have accepted. But however, you must be relieved latest by then. In the same email ask again for you releiving letter/ acceptance mail.

your further actions would depend upon what reply you get - ask for a reply per return, wait 2-3 days, send a reminder and then another in which put a date and state that if reply not received by such date you will understand the company fully accepts the contents of your mails.

As suggested minute the discussions.

If you are willing to extend upto 20th then mention that it shall be at the agreed rate of wages.

If possible record the calls/meetings (audio/visual) and keep some witness.
