Right of accused to be seated by supreme court

Can some one please cite the Judgment of Supreme Court, in which case the Apex Court Ruled that accused be seated during examination of witnesses. Should Accused seat or stand through out the examination of witnesses?

Good Question. Also I want to known that when judge gives judgment that as per section 302 of the IPC to be hang till death in an case why the judge brokes the pen nib or pen point which law it sya that judge has to broke the pen point or nib.
