right to have acknowledgment of articles

Court ordered some articles to be taken from the respondents house and the petitioner took the articles in presence of her lawer and respondent, the list is made and signed by all three. Applicants lawyer insisted to have  this original acknowledgment list to produce in the court and got it but he produced zerox not  original in the court. Now my question is who has the  right to keep original copy of this acknolegment list?  Secondly what is way for respondent as he does not the acknowlegment original?

1. Right to keep the Original is by the Applicant.

2. A xerox true copy should have been asked on the spot at the time of signing by the respondent.

3. If the Xerox Copy is not denied and is admitted then it is treated as Original (I like to stand corrected here by Ld members)

Rgds.
