Right to medical treatment

Dear friends, now a days there is cross agitation by lawyers and doctors in allahabad on the issue of death of an advocate in hospital due to his incapacity to pay high charges. every one knows about conditions of state medical facilities- in general,  govt. doctors remain in service only with a view to refer the petients to private hospitals. so many other evil things are prevalant in health sector which are not only mismanagement and corruption but are inhuman. let us stand for a constitutional amendment spcifically providing for fundamental right to health and a duty for state to ensure that no one dies in absence of money and medical treatment......

Right to life includes right to health as per Supreme Court interpretation of Article 21, in the case of State of Punjab vs Mahinder singh Chawla: But what is the use of Right to health as FR when we dont have the facility as pointed out by Dr.Tripathi. We go to hospital just to consumed a bagfull of medicines prescribed by the doctors, or go to private clinic etc. The medical institution is OK but it is those that managed the medical Institutions are not in proper track. Time is riped for doctors to have LCI like web sites. We can no longer tolerate the doctors of this country playing with the lives of the patients like a dolls.
