Royal charter of institution of engineers (india)

The Institution of Engineers (India) having its address at 8-Gokhale Road, Kolkata – 700020 registered under the Indian Companies Act, 1913 in the year 1920 and formally inaugurated in 1921 by Lord Chelmsford, the then Viceroy and Governor General of India and granted the Royal Charter of Incorporation 1935 by His Majesty the King George V of England in 1935.


1. Whether the Royal Charter of Incorporation 1935 of the said Institution altered or repealed or amended by a Competent Legislature or other Competent Authority under the Constitution of India.

2. Details of Alternation or Amendment or Repletion done to the Royal Charter of Incorporation 1935 of the said Institution under the Constitution of India.
