Sale deed

A property was on name of my mother and father. It was self acquired property of my father. Mother died without a will . Father sold the property by saying he is the sole owner of the property . I've filed a suit in the court for getting share  of my mother and cancellation of sale deed. Is that valid ?

No one has any right-by-birth in your father's  self-acquired property. In your case, since you say that some Settlement Deed has been registered, you will have to check if it contains a clause empowering revocation. If it does, you may revoke the settlement in terms of the deed. for further querry. My email ID:ramachary64@gmail.com
