Section 138

Firstly deposit the cheque and when the same is dishonoured then get issued a legal notice through a lawyer and thereafter file a complaint u/s. 138 NI Act.

Thanks for the reply ,payment was against material supply, client gave PDC, Presented the cheque and it was dishonoured, like to know what is the defence of the drawer of the cheque in section 138
