Section 299 of the companies act

Hi all,

I would like to know the answer for the following question :

1. whether section 299 of the Companies Act is applicable to Government companies ,when there are private persons who are directors in the company. ? State the procedure for the same?

2. What are the provisions applicable to govt company under the companies Act?

Dear still i am not clear what is the Quarry

the Goverment company means is it a goverment of india enterprises ?

or is it a subsidiesed company of goverment of india enterprises ?

what exactly ?

Archana your is a good query I also had a similar query because the service from BSNL is so poor and their attitude is so horrible they are like who are you when you go their office. They are least bothered about customers because they do not want them they are in Govt jobs and know will get paid. So the major issue with them is they bill even for Non service. I will post this up in the forum to see if there are any suggestions as to how fox the dept or the people.
