Section 53 A of T.P Act was amended by Registration and Other Related Laws (Amendment) Act, 2001 (48 of 2001), wherein the words "the contract, though required to be
registered, has not been registered” was omitted. The Press Information Bureau states that " The amended Act will come into force from a date to be notified by the Government."
Please tell us whether the date is notified. If so, when?
