seek your guidance

Have completed my LL.B. Special and presently employed in a job. I have not applied for the state bar council registration as am currently engaged in another profession. My question is, 1. can I give my services as a legal advisor without registration in bar council? 2. If yes, can I mention myself as a legal advisor on my business card? Regards.

I have my reservations on this issue.  According to me, you may not use the title of Legal advisor. Let others members give their views

According to me, as you are law graduate, you can work as Legal Advisor and Consultant, but you cannot work as an Advocate or can use Advocate title. You can't represent your client in any legal proceedings before any court or tribunal or any forum where advocates can represent.

.

Wait for other's opinion.

Thanks for your reply. Are there not any clearly defined rules for the same? I mean we just can't proceed on opinions.
