Sending money to wife

Sweetheart went without revealing intentions of divorce last sept.
I was sending 5k as she was not in my home (apart from her sal of 25K,)
Dec i recvd shocking petition under 13.
I got so angry and shocked, i stopped sending money in jan and this month feb. - i know it was emotional decision.
How is this viewed legally? Will it be seen as my negligence to swtheart?,,,,and they will say see he is least bothered and act on my disadvantage?

Keep paying her alimony, maintain record of any payments made to her, let all of em be via cheque or money order.

as told by helping hand keep all records of money transfer to her and continue it and it will help you in case you are going in for a contested divorce
