 BEFORE TAKING SERVICE TAX REGISTRATION IF YOU HAVE TAXABLE SERVICE TURNOVER ABOVE THE BASIC EXEMPTION LIMIT ,YOU ARE LIABLE TO PAY SERVICE TAX ,INTEREST AND PENALTY FOR NOT TAKING THE REGISTRATION AND FILING THE RETURN.

Hi,

 

I suppose to buy a flat in Bangalore. Builder is demanding for Service Tax and VAT. But he is not agree to mention of ST and VAT charges  in cost break-up and even agreement. Please suggest, what type problem can I face in future at time of registration.
