Staff Selection Board has released notification for CGL 2015 exam. In which cut off date for age eligibility has been increased from 1 Jan to 1 Aug. In all past recruitment cut off date was 1 Jan.Due to this Many Students who are preparing for exam, are not eligible now. Thousands of students career is on stake like me. As per rules ,cut off date can't be changed since it is annual exercise .As per DOPT rules and guidelines No .AB. 14017/10/€l7-Estt. (RR), According to paragraph 3, It states that
It may sometimes so happen that due to exigencies of circumstances an examination,which is normally held in 1st half of the year , is shifted to second halfof the year. Insuch case, the date for detemining the age limits would still be 1st jan.
Please suggest me what can be done as our next course of action. We already brought this into the notice of DOPT and SSC, But no positive response.
