My father in law has purchased a flat in bhandup before 1985 , mumbai and prepared an agreement on Rs.5 stamp paper. society is insisting to pay stamp duty, i have collected a letter from stamp duty office, in that its mentioned that the stampy duty before1985 is Rs.5 and its paid, but during the conveyance we have to pay
sir, our building is being constructed on the land is on lease basis, now the society is appying for conveyance and they are saying that you have to stamp duty,
sir kindly guide me that do i have to pay stamp duty during conveyance and if yes, how much amount? its on agreement value or market value
beside i want to ask that once i have paid Rs5/- stamp duty, why again i have to pay again while conveyance
