Statue of limitation

Is there a statue of limitation for property dispute?

If a property is tranferred to a grand son by panchayat in village based on grandfather's will  (NO WILL or  documents other than panchayat meeting notes are available) and If the property is not disputed for more than 25+ years in a family by other legal heirs, can someone start a litigation after 25+ years?

So the question is strictly on statue of limitation if exist in such cases.

Thank you

The limitation is of 30 years for uninteruprd, peaceful possession,if the the person who objects is below 30 years.for others it is 12 years.
