If my father buys property and registers it on my name, can my daughter lay a claim on it.

As long as property purchased by your father was from his own earnings, he has rights to dispose as he sees fit and you daughter cannot make any claims.

If property was purchased by disposing ancestral property or his share in the same, your daughter can claim a right.
