Suit for possession and recovery of damages

I HAVE FILED A SUIT FOR POSSESSION AND RECOVERY OF DAMAGES AGAINST THE DEFENDANT FOR THE ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF THE PLAINTIFF'S PROPERTY AS TENANT AFTER THE EXPIRY OF THE LEASE AGREEMENT. DURING THE PENDANCY OF THE SUIT I HAVE FILED APPLICATION UNDER ORDER 39 RULE 10 CPC FOR THE RECOVERY OF DAMAGES IN LIEU OF THE NON PAYMENT OF THE RENT AS PER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LEASE DEED AND APPLICATION UNDER ORDER 39 RULE 9 FOR RESTORING THE POSSESSION OF THE PREMISES TO THE PLAINTIFF ON GROUNDS OF ILLEGAL POSSESSION AND NON PAYMENT OF RENT. ARE THESE ABOVE SAID APPLICATIONS MAINTAINABLE UNDER THE RESPECTIVE PROVISIONS OF THE CPC?
