Summon has sent by court to party u/s crpc 125 & return to court and mentioned door locked

Dear Sir, In maintenance case u/s Cr.p.c 125 court has send to summon to party but party was not on the address & messenger has found door locked & summon has return to own address. Kindly confirm In this situation, honorable court to be understand or acknowledge summon has served or received by party or not. If summon returns with endorsement that door locked ,it will be presumed that summon has been duly served.

if summons are returned to the sender/ Court, it means that it has not been served. You will have to serve it again or if you can satisy the Court that the said person stays there, you can pray to have it pasted there.
