SUTI FOR RECOVERY ON BOUNCED CHEQUE

SIR I HAVE FILED COMPLAINT FOR BOUNCING OF CHEQUE 3 YEARS AGO AND IN WHICH ACCUSED HAS NOT BEEN SERVED AS SUCH I WANT TO FILE SUIT FOR RECOVERY BUT CHEQUE IS OF DATED JUNE 2019 NOW MAY I FILE SUIT OR NOT ?

If you filed Complaint under NI Act then you should approach High Court for expedite your case for more clarification you may contact us then I'll elaborate properly about your case.

No, Suit for recovery of cheque money could be filed within three years from the date of cheque written now suit can't be filed as time barred.

Sec 5 of limitation Act ( delay condonation application ) does not apply to suits, it applies only in appeals and applications.
