One my client having Two tap connections as per the Municipal Record, but he got only single Tap Connection. Recently my client received notice from Municipal authorities to pay huge amounts for two connections. My client is also noticed that he is using only single Tap and urged to decrease the amount to Single connection. But municpal authorities are demanding my client to pay amounts for two Tap connections. Please suggest me any legal remedy to my client for getting justice. can my client approach civil courts for rectifications of connections or any consumer Reddressal forum.
