Tenant occupied property without rental agreement

I have property in Jaipur,  key of which was given to agent in good faith for renting the place. Agent found one tenant who paid him rent  in cash and he handed over keys to tenant without getting rental agreement signed thinking he will prepare agreement next day for his signature. Tenant took over property and transferred his belongings overnight and left the place. Tenant is not contactable/ traceable now for last 06 days on the numbers given to us by him.

Please advise how we can get said premises vacated since he has disappeared after taking possession without signing rental agreement. We are not even sure what all belongings he has transferred into the house.

Please assit and guide next course of action.

rental agreements are different types. If the tenant and landlord not entered in rental agreement in writing, then it will come under oral agreement.  The oral agreement is valid and it is binding on both landlord and tenant. You send notice to the said premises that within one month to vacate the premises. After sending notice to the tenant you can take steps to vacate the premises by process of Law

Sir, verbal communication was between Broker and tenant. I am overseas and was not involved. Tenant has eloped after transferring his belongings and cannot find him. All his contact numbers are switched off. Is it not the case of forced occupation without any written agreement. It happened last week only. Can't we remove his belongings using Police help.
