Time limit for appealing in higher court for divorce case

Hello...my friend got divorced 10 years back in District Family Court.It was a divorce by mutual consent.The husband however never turned up for divorce petetion and general power of attorney made appearancs till final hearing.No attempt of reconcilation was however made even after 6 months of filing divorce petetion.My friend however signed mutual divorce papers.Can she appeal in higher court now  as she is undergoing a lot of mental agony and trauma?

 As per Section  28 Hindu marriage act

28. Appeals from decrees and orders.-

(4) Every appeal under this section shall be preferred within a period of thirty days from the date of the decree or order.
