Title search- mcd records?

Dear Experts,

I am searchig for the sale deed of a property, which was sold by my grand father more than 30 years ago, I am not sure about the year. I just have the property address.

Is their any way by which I can get the copy of that sale deed? Maybe if I can get the details of change in ownership of property from MCD records?

Pls. Help..

Thanks

Find out the Survey Number and other details of the property. Go to the Registrar's Office and contact the Clerk concerned and apply for a Public Copy of the sale deed duly paying the required fee.

It is better you approach through a Broker (duly negotiating his fee and other expenses which should be reasonable) and get this work done. There is a provision to obtain a Public Copy from the Registrar.

Inspect the records of Sub-registrar of the area where property is located, now-a-days all records are available in computer.

Obtain "True Copy" of the document as per rules.

You are authorised / entitled to inspect and seek true copy.
