Title, tax receipt & patta three persons

An old ancestral property's title is in the name of grand father but the property tax receipt is in the name of grand mother. The patta of the the said property is in the name of father. All the three are no more.

Now five sons of the father want to make an agreement such that the ancestral property will be exclusively given to only one son.

What can be done?

1. The property tax receipt is in the name of grand mother.donot affect and has no relevance to title (ownership) of the property.

2.The patta of the the said property is stated to be in the name of father, accordingly title of the property is already transferred in the name of father.

3. No agreement shall transfer title in favour of one of the five sons to acquire "exclusive" ownership.

4. The four out of five sons will have either to relinquish / gift or sale their respective share(s) in the name of fifth son.

Best wishes for coming New Gorgion Year-2023
