My father puchased a flat in the year 2003. Expired in 2008. Registersd housing society not yet issued share certificate in his name. I am the only son-married with 2 adult children. Now my mother who is now +70 wishes to be the righful owner (like the name of her husband appearing in the original purshase agreement) and member in the society records.
I approched some Lawyers who informed:
a, Sucesssion ceritificate, death certificate establishes ownership and trandferablity of membership
b affidavit as a claiment wife and death certificate.
Pl. advise the correct steps to be taken by mother and then by the Society,
We are residents of a Cantonment area in Maharashtra.
