Transfer case and next stage

Please guide with your thoughts:

My case got transferred to FC from District court. At the district court the case was pending for passing of orders on the settlement terms and arguments had been completed.

The FC judge says that he will now take up the case of Maintenance that is pending for cross examination (case filed by wife) although there is a application pending there for Rule 31 for disposal in that case as well.

Please guide what should I do:

1. File a memo to the FC judge to take up the passing of orders of the transferred case?

2. If the cross examoination of the wife starts does in mean that I have accepted the settlement terms are not valid?

- No need, even oral submission is sufficient.

2. If the cross examoination of the wife starts does in mean that I have accepted the settlement terms are not valid?

- It does not mean so.
