transfer of divorce case from dispur to berhampur

i have filed a case for divorce against my husband in dispur family court.

my husband has filed the same in berhampur family court

should i attend the berhampur hearings?

how much will a lawyer charge for transferring the case?

can i do it myself?

YOU MAY ATTEND BEHARAMPUR BUT AS A LADY YOU MAY PRAY TO GAUHATI HIGH COURT FOR TRANSFER OF YOUR BEHARAMPUR CASE TO DISPUR.

NO SPECIFIC CHARGE CAN BE PRESCRIBED, BUT ASK FEW LAWYER ABOUT THEIR CHARGES AND CONSULT HERE AGAIN.

THERE IS A GOVT RATE ALSO. ENQUIRE ABOUT THAT. IT MIGHT BE CHEAPER.

Under Section 24 of the Civil Procedure, you can approach the High Court seeking transfer of case filed by your Husband to Dispur, where you reside.

It is easy for court to decide as you have initiated proceedings in Dispur.

Court will order for joint trial of both the proceedings

Dear author,

i think it is a fit case for transfer from BERHAMPUR TO DISPUR & DISPUR TO BERHUMPUR, WHATEVER U WANT. i dont agree with the other expert that GAUHATI HIGH COURT CAN TRANSFER UR CASE. but ONE AND only supreme court of india can direct the concern HIGH COURT where ur husband filed MAT SUIT TO transfer ur HUSBANDS MAT CASE FROM BERHUMPUR TO DISPORE THROUGH GAUHATI HIGH COURT.

USUALLY for transfer petition rs. 20-25k will be ur cost for speedy & proper transfer.
