Transfer of mahada property

Hi,

Let me tell explain the scenario, my father got a mhada (Maharashtra development ) room from a person who got the allotment of the room in 80's. In the 1983/84  my father received this room by a written affidivat of the alloted person. My father passed away on 23/Jan/2011 leaving behind  his wife, a married daughter & a married son(myself). The questions to be anwsered are:

1. How  can I transfer the property to my mom's name?

2. Do i require the alloted person personally or his signature for transfer?

3. If the alloted person is not traceable or if he may have  passed away (no idea). What would be the next procedure?

4. How, When and what are the expenses for transfer?

5. Do i have to pay certain to alloted person now to get transfered as my dad have paid all the installments of MAHADA in his names and its been written in the affidivat?

Please help me by answsering this genuine questions. I would be grateful to the lawyersclubindia.com for helping me out.

Thanks in advance

ManojKumar
