Transfer Policy vs deputation policy

When an employee goes on transfer, its better to pay DA for first one week or two weeks till he finds a house and settles down. Max you can seal up to two weeks. If it is a request transfer , then the employee need not be paid DA. This can be paid as actual reimbursement against producing bill. The duration and the amount dependa on organizational policy.
