Hi Folks,
I am writing in regards of my UK traffic penalty.
I was in UK (United Kingdom) for one year on work permit. By mistake once I over speed the rental car, for which rental agency charged me on my credit card. on inquiring rental company told that due to over speeding I was charged the amount, actually that was only administration charge not the actual traffic fine (which I got to konw very late, when got the notice form court). rental company sent me one document also, which I could not understand properly (actually stating about the traffic fine). Now when UK court sent the notice to my office, I got to know that I was liable to pay some amount for the rule violation. Now I am in communication with UK court via emails, I have reply of my email as below:
"Good afternoon Your email was referred through to our legal advisors for consideration and they have stated the following information; “She has three options, 1) accept the penalty and make payment 2) make a statutory declaration at her local embassy 3) return to the UK and swear a statutory declaration or appeal.” Please find attached information on how and where to swear a statutory declaration outside of the jurisdiction of England and Wales. Thank you."
I replied back stating that I want to go ahead with second option as below:
"Hi, Wishes for the day!!! Thank you very much for considering my request for review the case and providing the possible solutions. In my current circumstances, I would try to go for second option to provide saturatory deceleration. Need some more guidance and support to arrange the required information/document in required format. Please provide the format in which I should give the saturatory delegation if you have any, or my country’s format will be okay to proceed? Is there any specific stamp duty which I should pay to make this saturatory declaration? Do I need to send the saturatory declaration via post/mail at given address?"
Kindly provide your valuable inputs how and where I can provide the saturatory declaration, I am based out of Bangalore.
