Unauthorized contruction

Hello Ld Members,

I am staying on ground floor of DDA flat and resident of top floor has started unauthorized construction. When we talked to each other he abused and used unacceptable language. I reported the matter for illegal construction to Municipal Corporation as the area was denotified by DDA in 2006 and is covered by Municipality. Thereafter I filed a RTI to check on the progress of the complaint filed with the Dept. However the neighbor has taken support from Resident Welfare Association and we had negotiated on the things. Now I don't want his construction to stop and go as it is.

Is there any thing I can do with the following:

1. Take back my complaint. Not sure if it is possible

2. Want no action over the RTI filed and take back too.

Please suggest.

Thanks & Regards,

Abhishek

Check the status of complaint filed in MCD who should have booked unauthorised building/construction.

If yes, the autorities are to take action as per law otherwise forget.

No action will be there against you for the information sought under RTI Act,2005

Rightly opined by the Learned Mr. J. C. Vashista.  I agree with him.

As far as the complaint submitted to the Commissioner, MCD, if you intend to withdraw it at this stage wherein the authorities have already initiated action based on your complaint, you will be unnecessarily harassed, hence just wait and watch the developments, in the event of inquiry and you are called to give your evidence, you can turn hostile then.  About RTI, remain quiet even if you get the information sought.
