This month 18th there is an advertisement for faculty (Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor) in Engineering & Technology fron JNT University Kakinada. The eligibility criteria given for this advertisement is as per UGC 2006 scales. As per UGC for professor post eligibility condition is given as "10 years of service in which 5 years should be at a level of Reader".
On the same day (18-1-2012) Osmania University also given notification for faculty recruitment in Engineering & Technology. But this university (Osmania University) has given the qualification as per AICITE 2006 scales. As per AICTE for a professor post eligibility condition is given as "13 years of service in the university".
In the same state, two universities are following different rules (eligibility criteria) for same posts. Due to which some people are getting the advantage and some are getting disadvantage.
In this regards many of the faculty in the JNTUniversity kakinada are losing the eligibility. So, shall we approach AP high court for justice or not. Please kindly reply.
