Urgent - mediation doubts

Hi,

Please let me know following answers:

  1. Duration of mediation from first mediation date?
  2. I am not in right mental state to make any productive discussion in mediation, and am on medication - can i ask for more time - atleast 6 weeks when i go first date?
  3. How many sessions can happen?
  4. What if mediation fails, after final attempt? - how many days i get to file my response on petition? - can i ask for 2 months time?

Thanks.

Hi opensky... mediation happens for 3 days - one per week. mediation is not a legal requirement. It is just a formality. Just take it and finish it at the earliest. Just talk your true intention in the mediation. Stay cool, calm and composed. Atleast pretend. You will get it. Never ever get angry or upset about what the other pasay.says. just stay calm and silent. If you delay mediation, your case start will get delayed. So go, see it, hear it and finish it.
