Waiver of six months waiting period in mutual divorce case

Page no : 3

Satish Mishra   02 January 2018

Amardeep Singh vs. Harveen Kaur Civil Appeal no. 11158 of 2017 (Supreme Court) has already settled this controversy. The 6 month cooling period is not waived off but just made discretionary which was earlier rather mandatory. It is still subject to the satisfaction of the Family Court judge and if he sees your case is squarely covered, you will get it. It is better to connect with one of the experts lawyer from your city in family matters to get the desired help.

Many judgments have been shared.

The spouse(s) have to file application for waiver of waiting/cooling period.

The LOCAL lawyer(s) engaged by spouse (s) have a Role ...............rather certain Role to Play and justify the wisdom for which lawyer is trusted and approached and a FEE is paid….and build case so as to convince the Presiding Officer.

If the spouse(s) is/are appearing as PIP but are not confident he/she/they may lean on a very able senior LOCAL counsel of unshakable repute ad integrity specializing in Family matters and having a successful track record.
